My experience across both the operations floor and the private sector has shaped a practical, balanced perspective on what agencies truly need and how technology can best support their work. I’m running for Private Sector Director because I believe collaboration works best when it is thoughtful, accountable, and always aligned with the needs of PSAPs and the telecommunicators who serve their communities.

If elected, my focus will be on strengthening transparent partnerships between vendors and agencies, supporting innovation that is reliable and mission-driven, and ensuring private sector perspectives complement, never overshadow, operational realities. Equally important to me is advocating for the professionals whose work forms the backbone of 911 and ensuring their voices remain central as our industry continues to evolve.

I would be honored to represent the private sector community and contribute to collective efforts that support the future of Next Generation 911. Thank you for your trust, your engagement, and your shared commitment to advancing emergency communications.

My Vision

Clear, honest dialogue is the foundation of trust. I value listening first, encouraging thoughtful conversation, and ensuring voices across public safety and the private sector are heard and respected.

Open Communication

Strong outcomes are built together. I believe private sector collaboration should be transparent, accountable, and always aligned with the real-world needs of agencies and frontline telecommunicators.

Meaningful Collaboration

Leadership is rooted in service to others. I am committed to putting people first, supporting the professionals behind 911, and advancing solutions that strengthen emergency communications for the communities we serve.

Service First Leadership

My Journey

I am a public safety professional, leader, and advocate with a long-standing commitment to strengthening emergency communications and supporting the people who make 9-1-1 possible. My career spans hands-on operational experience, leadership roles, and national collaboration, giving me a practical, well-rounded understanding of the challenges agencies and telecommunicators face every day.

Throughout my work, I have focused on bridging the space between operations, leadership, and policy—ensuring decisions are informed by real-world experience and grounded in service. I believe strong systems are built through transparent leadership, thoughtful collaboration, and solutions that are practical and sustainable. Whether working alongside agencies or within the private sector, my approach remains centered on accountability, trust, and people-first outcomes.

Beyond my professional roles, my family keeps me grounded and deeply connected to the communities we serve. As a single mother, balancing leadership, service, and family life has shaped my perspective and reinforced my belief that meaningful progress is driven by purpose, perseverance, and care for others.

I am also deeply committed to mentorship, education, and advocacy. I regularly contribute to industry conversations through speaking, writing, and collaboration with national organizations, with the goal of elevating the profession, supporting those on the front lines, and ensuring diverse voices are heard as emergency communications continue to evolve.

My passion for 911 comes from real experience. I’ve seen what works, what doesn’t, and the impact when decisions are made without a clear understanding of operational realities. Those experiences have shaped how I approach leadership and why I believe practical insight and accountability matter.

I am committed to bringing a thoughtful, service-driven perspective to the role of Private Sector Director—one that ensures private sector voices are engaged in ways that truly support agencies, telecommunicators, and the communities they serve. Collaboration works best when it is grounded in trust, transparency, and a shared commitment to doing what’s right for public safety.

Equally important to me is the personal “why” behind my candidacy. As a single mother, the example I set for my daughter guides everything I do. I want her to see that leadership is rooted in service, that perseverance matters, and that neither professional nor personal barriers define what’s possible.

I am running because I believe in this profession, in collaboration over competition, and in the power of leading with integrity, purpose, and vision—for the future of 9-1-1 and for the people who serve within it.
